16-02-11
The Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology has announced their plan for a $194 million
Skills for All
program aimed at improving pathways from schools to VET by making it easier for students to complete their qualifications started for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). The program is aimed to help students, 16 years and older, to access a government-funded training subsidy to study VET as part of their SACE as long as there is a clear pathway to obtain Certificate III qualifications.
The program is in response to the needs of individuals and industry and is intended to create a simpler system to support more people in entering training, progressing to higher qualifications and to increase the level of employment participation.
