If you had some “words of wisdom” for young people/ secondary students considering their career path, or considering a business related career path in particular, what would these comments be?
Determination is a key to success. One has to set goals and be determined to accomplish them. For year 11 and 12, it is vital that you start considering your career path early and take the subjects that relate to your chosen career pathway. Grab any opportunity that comes your way. Businesses out there are always offering cadetships and traineeships to school-leavers; do not let an opportunity pass you by. A traineeship is an ideal way to experience the business environment and develop your skills.
